Interview Summary

Mildred Watkins Chandler, the wife of Kentucky governor and Senator Albert B. Chandler, discusses her husband's political career over time. She talks about their personal relationship and her husband's career before politics. She talks about his entrance into Kentucky politics, his various achievements, and how he gained the position of U.S. Senator.
