Interview Summary
Dr. Angela Clifford discusses her path to becoming a surgeon in the 1970s. She graduated from the University of Kentucky College of Medicine and was one of the first women to pursue surgery as a specialty at the University of Kentucky. She talks about her life growing up, years in high school and medical school, and her professional career. Even as a surgeon, Dr. Clifford loved her patients. Dr. Clifford was one of eleven women in a class of 92 students. At the time of her interview, she was still working.Interview Accession
