Interview Summary
Dr. Christine Riley talks about her path to a successful career in diagnostic radiology. She was one of the first women who graduated from the University of Kentucky College of Medicine. Dr. Riley was one of eight women in a class of 99 students. Her class was the last to enter medical school prior to the enactment of Title IX. She talks about growing up in rural Kentucky. Her mother was a housewife and her father was in the trucking business. She was raised in a large family. Dr. Riley talks about growing up, her high school and college years, medical school experiences, and her professional career.Interview Accession
