Interview Summary
Wimberly Royster's interview discussed the roles and responsibilities of the UK Office of Research and how the Kentucky Transportation Center ties in with the overall mission of the University to perform quality research. He discussed his involvement in the successful proposal to win the bid for Kentucky to become the home of the Asphalt Institute in the 1980's. His interview further detailed the operations and mission of Advanced Science and Technology Commercialization Center (ASTECC) and the Experimental Program for Stimulating Competitive Research (EPSCOR) and their goals to obtain competitive research funding.Interview Accession
