Interview Summary

Executive Director of the Kentucky Foundation for Women (KFW) Sharon LaRue talks in detail about how the pandemic affected KFW and its ability to assist artists across Kentucky. She also discusses how the pandemic, coupled with the Breonna Taylor and Black Lives Matter (BLM) protests in Louisville during the summer of 2020, affected artists around the state. LaRue provides deep insight into support of and for artists of all kinds, including writers, musicians, actors, and visual artists.
