Interview Summary

In this interview Nora Colwell discusses the flu epidemic that hit Leslie County in 1918, which affected everyone in her family except one sister. She talks about how the family survived following her father being unable to work. Colwell also talks about the local midwife who delivered her first four children. She credits the FNS with saving her life and the lives of her children in various circumstances.
