Interview Summary
Wajahat Hussain, a Pakistani general, begins the interview by recalling his engagement and marriage. The family of Hussain's wife are also detailed. Next, the impact of the partition on both Hussain's family and in-laws respectively is considered. Then, stories that the interviewee's family told him during childhood are reiterated. The relationship between Hussain's family and the city of Aligarh is described, as well as the interviewee's involvement in the sport of polo. Following this, the interviewee's wedding is discussed, along with married life in general. To conclude the interview, Hussain gives a summary of what life was like in the early days of Pakistan.Interview Accession
