Interview Summary

In this interview, bar owner Tony Torracino and patron Margaret Foresman discuss the time that painter Henry Faulkner spent in Key West, Florida. It begins with a discussion of Faulkner's abilities as a singer and actor. The two talk about a movie done about Tony Torracino's life in which Faulkner plays himself. It then moves on to a discussion about Faulkner's relationship with gold heiress Alice DeLamar. The two also talk about the level of acceptance Faulkner had as a gay man living in Key West. The interview discusses Faulkner's relationship with Tennessee Williams in detail, as well as his other relationships. Tarracino talks about Faulkner's attitude towards drugs and alcohol, as well as talking about his own bar, Captain Tony's Saloon. It ends with a brief discussion regarding Faulkner's childhood.
