Interview Summary

Judith (Judy) Fugate, a UK Libraries employee since 1964, talks about her early experiences at UK and various people with whom she has worked, including previous library directors Paul Willis and Stuart Forth. She shares general observations about students and faculty, her work with the History and other departments, and briefly talks about campus incidents during the 1960s. Other topics include her professional philosophy, the move from the Margaret I. King Library to W.T. Young Library in 1998, and the influence of technology on library services and student work.
