Interview Summary

Robert "Bob" Cain is from Kansas. He was a left-handed pitcher in Major League Baseball, and is best remembered for his pitching against Eddie Gaedel, a dwarf. In this interview, he discusses topics such as his Minor League career, pitching against the New York Yankees in 1951, his Chicago White Sox teammates, his playing for the Detroit Tigers, his pitching strategy, his famous pitch to Eddie Gaedel, his being traded to the St. Louis Browns, Satchel Paige, changes in baseball since the 1940s, and his (Cain's) overall baseball experience.
