volunteered for Air Force; went to British intelligence school-- took special training with 150th Squadron of the Royal Air Force; did intelligence and public relations work; served with the Twelth Air Force; served in Africa with 97th Bombardment Group-- discusses battle of Kasserine Pass; took part in bombing raids from Russia - bombed oil refineries; discusses experiences in Russia-- crash landings.
