Interview Summary

In this interview Earle C. Clements discusses his life in politics, from Sheriff and County Court clerk of Union County to being am advisor for Lyndon B. Johnson during the 1960 presidential election. Clements discusses how voter demographics have changed since he started his career, his feelings on nuclear war, and his accomplishments as a politician. The interviews in this collection were conducted by middle school students as part of an educational media project under the direction of Henderson County North Middle School teacher Roy Pullam
