Interview Summary
Maternal Grandmother of interviewer Kopana Terry, Hannah Ann Hamilton Adams shares stories about her family growing up on Mine Fork, Kentucky, a very rural Eastern Kentucky area that now sits beneath the waters of Paint Creek Lake on the edge of Morgan/Johnson/Magoffin County lines. She also discusses how women dealt with menstration before commercial products were avaialable, gardening, canning, and mining. A devout Christian of the Pentecostal faith, she discusses at length the Second Coming of Christ.Interview Accession
