Interview Summary
Two interviews were conducted with Nell Cox by Bob Gates. The first interview was conducted on April 1, 2019, and this, the follow up interview, was conducted on April 29, 2019. Cox talks about her early life growing up in Frankfort, Kentucky, her leaving to go to college, living in New York and learning to be a filmmaker with Don Pennebaker. She discusses living in Paris, buying a camera. her growth in the film industry, and her desire to encourage more female directors.Interview Accession
