Interview Summary
This is an interview with Paul Hamman, engineer and owner of Suma Recording Studio in Cleveland, Ohio. He is the son of the founder, Ken Hamann. In the interview, Susan and Paul talk about his working relationship with Pere Ubu, a rock band from Cleveland, Ohio. They also talk quite a bit about Paul's interactions with other audio engineers and producers over the course of his career, and his opinions on producers and engineers who are new to the industry. Another continuous talking point throughout the interview is the change of technology over his twenty year long career, and how he feels about the changes in recording these new technologies have brought about.Interview Accession
