Interview Summary
James 'Jim' Gabbard is a sergeant of the Lexington Police Department and supervisor for its Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Unit. Gabbard has worked with the police department for over twenty-four years and has seen it improve its handling of domestic violence and stalking cases. In this interview, Gabbard sits down with T.K. Logan and two other interviewers to discuss the characteristics of perpetrators, the trials victims face, the improvement of investigatory methods after receiving a grant, and the advice/tips he would give stalking victims for ensuring their safety and the prosecution of their stalker.Interview Accession
