Charles Bole discusses various aspects of his life. He talks about his work as a painter and a miner, and his family's involvement in the Hurricane Creek mine disaster. He discusses various events of the 1950s including the nation's fear of Communism, President Roosevelt, and the Korean War. He talks about the assassination of President John F. Kennedy.
