Interview Summary
Ralph Derickson enrolled at the University of Kentucky in the fall of 1964 after working for two years for the Clay City Times newspaper. He earned his degree in Journalism at U.K. while working as a reporter for the Lexington Herald. In 1970, Ralph was hired as the public relations associate for the Council of State Governments and worked there until 1980, whereupon he was employed by the University of Kentucky in Public Relations until his retirement in 2005. In this interview he discusses the 2020 Presidential Election, Republican Party, events on the U.K. campus in 1968, and Don B. Pratt.Interview Accession
