Project Summary

This project was generated as part of a multimedia project initiated by cultural critic and visual artist Candacy Taylor to document the lives of career waitresses across the United States. Taylor interviewed five Kentucky waitresses in 2006 and donated the digital audio and image files to the University of Kentucky in 2008. The project was partially funded by the Kentucky Oral History Commission.
