Interview Summary

Alvin L. Martin, born in Elizabethtown, Kentucky in 1924, served in the United States Air Force during World War II. Martin volunteered for his service in 1943 and spent time in Brazil, Africa, Italy, and Germany. Martin was a radio operator for the 485th Bomb Group and completed 31 missions while overseas. Martin was discharged in November 1945.
