Interview Summary

Salman begins the interview by discussing her background, and how she became a DJ at WRFL. Subsequently, Salman reflects upon her time as a DJ at WRFL and the relevance of these skills to her current job in the entertainment industry. Next, the visit of the Red Hot Chili Peppers to WRFL is described. Then, the work ethic of the WRFL staff is considered. Salman also talks about her playlist while she was a DJ, and continues to examine the workplace culture of WRFL in the 1980s. Lastly, the interviewee details the projects she has been working on to celebrate the twentieth anniversary of WRFL, as well as a recollection of her favorite part of being a WRFL DJ.
