Interview Summary
George Hubley describes some of the various post-war committees he and Clements were involved with, which were dedicated to post-war planning and economic development. He describes in detail the process of mapping Kentucky by geological survey. Hubley describes, at length, the duties and accomplishments of the Agricultural and Industrial Development Board (A&IDB), which included topography mapping, community surveys, and the publication of one of the country's first manufacturing directories. Hubley describes the members of the A&ID Board, and how, during the time of the A&IDB, they made extensive use of federal funding to invest in community development. He discusses Clements' role with the A&IDB.Interview Accession
