Interview Summary

Robert N. "Bobby" Brown is a former baseball player for the New York Yankees who later pursued a career in medicine. He returned to baseball some years later as an executive of the Texas Rangers. In this interview, he discusses topics such as his early interests in both baseball and medicine, the 1946 Yankees team, the Mexican League, the players' strike, Baseball Commissioner Happy Chandler, and his reasons for leaving the Yankees to begin a medical career.
