Interview Summary
Kenneth H. Kennedy was a student at the University of Kentucky during its early days of desegregation. In this interview, he discusses his childhood and education in Louisville, Kentucky. He talks about his decision to attend the University of Kentucky and his experiences as an African American man during the school's integration period. He talks about his experiences with racism and violence, his social life on campus, meeting with university administration, and his feelings on his overall experience at UK.
