Interview Summary
John Kim talks about his upbringing and diverse experiences growing up. He discusses his educational and career history leading up to his current work in cancer care. Kim talks about the Markey Cancer Center, Markey Cancer Center Affiliate Network, and Appalachian Career Training in Oncology (ACTION) Program at the University of Kentucky. He discusses delivering cancer care to different communities throughout Kentucky, educating communities about cancer, cancer care and resources, and challenges to accomplishing this.
