Interview Summary

Sean Kenosian discussed serving in the Peace Corps from 1994-1996. Kenosian describes the agency structures and auditing processes which were instrumental in his work in Dnipropetrovsk, Ukraine. Kenosian worked at Balance Audit where he reviewed documents and strategized with the owners of a private start- up company. He also tutored people in English. He credits his experiences with providing him with direction in his consequent career: Peace Corps was a vehicle to open new opportunities for him. As a result of his service, Kenosian says that he gained a new perspective on the US, he learned to open himself up to others, and, in so doing, grew as a person.
