Interview Summary

David Warner is a lifelong resident of Mayfield and currently serves as the Chief of the Mayfield/Graves County Fire and Rescue. He and his fellow first responders were responding to calls when their fire station was destroyed by the tornado events of December 10, 2021. Warner recounts growing up in Mayfield, his path to becoming the Chief of the Fire and Rescue, and the response to the overwhelming destruction after the tornado events. He also speaks about plans to rebuild the fire station and about the future of rebuilding in Mayfield.
