Interview Summary

Mukherjee describes what it was like to grow up during World War II, as well as the Indian independence movement in the small village of Jhorehat in India. He discusses his medical training, the places he received the training, as well as how he came to settle in the United States of America. He talks about the changes in the community of Georgetown, Kentucky as well as the new hospital that he helped to establish there.
