Interview Summary

In this second interview Scott continues to share stores about his father's career and discusses his work as farm manager for the Jeffords after his father's death. Scott also discusses his experiences with horse sales, working as a blood stock agent with his son-in law, and the decline in African American farm workers. He reflects on changes within the industry in regards to ownership, breeding, sales, and horse care. Individuals discussed in the interview include George Humphrey (Secretary of the Treasury under President Eisenhower), Joe Estes, Colonel Phil Chinn, Alex Harthill, Walter Jeffords, Sr., and Walter Jeffords, Jr.
