Interview Summary

The Howes tell the story of how they came to Kentucky, their introduction to pottery, and the building of their business. They and the interviewer also discuss the troubles of making it financially as craftspeople and other issues (guild and state regulations, for instance) that befall craftspeople, as well as their hopes for the future of crafting and its potential use in educating children on commodity chains.
