Interview Summary
Hollywood producer, writer, and television executive Frank Price discusses his background and associations with Don Galloway. Price was executive producer of "Ironside," before becoming head of Universal Studios and head of Columbia Pictures. He talks about his early life, working his way up to studio head from being a clerk typist at CBS in 1951, and his interactions with Don Galloway and actress Barbara Anderson (both actors on "Ironside"). He talks about the responsibility of portraying African Americans and people with disabilities in strong roles in 1960s television, and the positive impact he believes the show had on audiences.Interview Accession
