Interview Summary

Sid Hisel talks about how he came to Scott County after high school, his career with Georgetown News, the Jessamine Newsweek, the Scott Shopper, and changes in the printing business over the years. He also discusses his role in the cleanup after the tornado in Stamping Ground, Kentucky in 1974, methods of communication, problems they encountered, being appointed to the Disaster & Emergency Services department by Mayor Warren Powers, and some of the people and organizations involved in the cleanup.
