Interview Summary

Lore Wayne Tune is an architect with a degree from University of Kentucky who ultimately had his own firm with an office that moved from downtown Lexington to the Lansdowne Shopping Center. J.W. Davis and C.B. McEachin offered him a lot in what is now Lansdowne Estates of 1.25 acres on which five years after purchasing he designed a contemporary home built by Bill Nickel. He furnished the house with lighting and furniture from local businesses. His wife, Carol Chambers Deen Tune speaks of her love of the neighborhood, having previously lived on Old Dobbin Road in Shadeland.
