Interview Summary
Cass F. Irvin is an author and activist from Louisville, KY who has been a wheelchair user since she contracted polio at age 9. She played a major role in the creation of the historical “Disability Rag” periodical, and fought hard for the legislation that created the Personal Care Attendant Program. I. this interview, she discusses her experiences with accessibility and disability advocacy in Louisville. Researchers can learn more about Cass in her memoir “Home Bound.”Interview Accession
