Interview Summary

Ada Lee Grawemeyer Kane, born in Louisville, KY, was a member of the Union Barricades, an entertainment group for troops in Fort Knox. Kanes' parents were also involved in the entertainment group. Kane trained in New York at the School of American Ballet and went overseas to tour with the group. They spent time at Okinawa Island, Iwo Jima, and the Philippines.
