Interview Summary
Donald Stosberg (Malawi, 1965-1966; Education Program), originally chosen to go to Colombia but transferred to Malawi to teach English, provides descriptions of two Peace Corps training programs. He describes his role and experiences as a teacher in Malawi and connects his willingness to take risks in his career to his Peace Corps experience. Stosberg describes his work for the Legislative Research Commission, the Kentucky Association of Homes for Children, the Kentucky Recreation and Parks Society, and running three times for public office. Stosberg also discusses what he believes should be the role of the Peace Corps today.Interview Accession
