Interview Summary

Parker and Craig Beam are co-master distillers at Heaven Hill Distilleries, Inc. in Bardstown, Kentucky. In this interview they discuss the Parker?s Heritage Collection Promise of Hope bottles, whose are donated to the ALS Association. They discuss Craig's first job at Heaven Hill and his current role as Master Distiller. They talk about the fire that occurred in the Heaven Hill warehouses in 1996 as well as other challenges they have faced together over the years. They talk about tasting bourbon and their preferences for drinking bourbon. They talk about how working in the bourbon industry has become a tradition in their family and the advice they were each given when they began working at Heaven Hill Distilleries.
