Elizabeth Hall talks about life in Jenkins, and specifically describes the downtown area. She talks about her family and her job as a teacher. She discusses her father's work as a miner and his relationship with the company and unions. She talks about company houses and other buildings in town. She talks about soldiers and military funerals during World War II. She discusses race and ethnicity, immigrant families, African Americans, and the desegregation of schools in the area.
