Interview Summary
David Switzer is the executive director of the Kentucky Thoroughbred Association and the Kentucky Thoroughbred Owners and Breeders, headquartered in Lexington, KY. In this interview, Switzer discusses his family, his childhood, and his early interest in agriculture and horses. He speaks about working on a neighbor's farm as a teenager and his employment with Hall of Fame trainer, Mack Miller. For thirteen years, Switzer operated an equine insurance and bloodstock agency, and he explains the business.
