Interview Summary

John T. Smith was the Vice President for the Office of Minority Affairs at the University of Kentucky. In this interview, he discusses how he came to work in the Office of Minority Affairs, what the office was like before his arrival, and the progress he made during his tenure there. He talks about the climate on UK's campus for minority students at the time, and the efforts he made to improve diversity at UK.
