Interview Summary

Thomas Catchpole served in Ecuador from 1970-1974 in Cuenca and the Azuay and Canar region as part of the Forestry program. Catchpole is a lifelong forester and volunteer. A visit from one of the first RPCVs to his 4H club when he was 12 set Catchpole on the path to serve in Peace Corps. Catchpole stayed in Ecuador another two years after service continuing to help reforestation in Ecuador before returning to the US.
