Walter D. Huddleston discusses his work and experiences on the United States Select Committee to Study Governmental Operations with Respect to Intelligence Activities, or the Church Committee. He describes the genesis of, need for, and major goals of the Church Committee. He talks about his impressions of fellow committee members. He discusses investigating the C.I.A., F.B.I., and N.S.A. He talks about handling classified information, hearings with mafia members, investigation of U.S. involvement in international assassination plots and politics.
