Interview Summary

In this interview, Grace Frye discusses Etowah, Tennessee and the L&N Railroad Company. She describes both her own and her husband's time working for the L&N Railroad. She tells of the railroad strike of 1922 and what the railroad was like during both world wars. She also describes the city of Etowah and how it changed over time, including during the Great Depression.
