Interview Summary
In this interview, Harry Lee Waterfield II, talks about the career of his father, Harry Lee Waterfield in Kentucky politics. More than four decades of Kentucky politics are discussed. Waterfield II begins with the election of Harry Lee Waterfield to the Kentucky General Assembly in 1932 representing Fulton/Hickman counties through his two terms as House Speaker, his unsuccessful gubernatorial campaign in 1947 and 1959 and successful LIeutenant Governors races in 1955 and 1963.Interview Accession
