Interview Summary
Deignan was interviewed in 2004 at Bellarmine University. She is the author of two published works on Merton: 'When the Trees Say Nothing: Writings on Nature' and 'Thomas Merton: A Book of Hours.' In this interview Deignan talks about Merton's upbringing, life in Gethsemani, and his trip to Asia.
