Interview Summary

Roberts offers his early experience with baseball from his childhood. In particular, he notes the influence of the Cincinnati Reds in his mind growing up in Dayton, Ohio. Roberts explains how he ended up coming to the University of Kentucky. He describes meeting with Keith Madison, and the role Madison played as a coach for the team. He talks about his fellow teammates, the baseball facilities at UK, and their experiences traveling to games. Roberts describes his two experiences having to choose between school and professional baseball. He talks about meeting his wife, his career with The Hershey Company, and his reflections on the University of Kentucky.
