Interview Summary
Aubrey Williams discusses his life, education and career. He discusses his brief service as a judge and his long career as an activist and attorney in Louisville Kentucky. He was born in Verda Harlan County Kentucky in 1945. He father was a union organizer and coal worker. He was a family of 17 children, 9 of whom survived. First job was as Grit Newspaper salesman at the age of 5 or 6. Served as Editor in Chief of high school paper. Williams serves as an attorney in the Oxmoor Shopping Center Murder case. The conversation with Judge Williams was very frank about race relations.Interview Accession
