Interview Summary
Muriel "Miki" Crespi is an anthropologist noted for her efforts to establish applied anthropology in the National Park Service. In the interview, Crespi discusses her early anthropological experience in Ecuador, how she found herself in Washington D.C., working with the National Park Service and its policies, her efforts to legitimize anthropology in the National Park Service, and the non-inclusion of native people in the decisions of the National Park Service.Interview Accession
