Interview Summary

Scott Faulkner discusses the ten years that he spent making films at Appalshop, Inc. in Whitesburg, Kentucky as a part of funding received by Bill Richardson from the National Endowment for the Humanities. He talks about the films that his name was on directly, such as "Nimrod Workman: To Fit My Own Category", "Ramsey Trade Fair", and "Sunny Side of Life". He also discusses the fun times that he and the friends he made while at Appalshop, Inc. had, as well as the times before he came to Appalshop, Inc., including his time at the University of Kentucky and his hometown of Corbin, Kentucky. Faulkner also illustrates the legacy of Appalshop, Inc., why he ended up leaving the company, and what he did afterward.
