Interview Summary
Deborah S. Tassie was born on March 29, 1949 in Toledo, Ohio, the daughter of Glennon Bloomfield Tassie and Frances Beard Tassie. Debbie’s father was a Certified Public Accountant and her mother was a homemaker. Debbie attended DeVeaux Elementary School, and graduated from DeVilbiss High School in 1967. She enrolled at the University of Kentucky in the fall of 1967, but transferred to Antioch College for the 1969-1970 academic year, and then to the University of Colorado where she graduated in 1972 with a degree in Political Science. She earned her law degree from the University of Toledo in 1979. In this interview she discusses her experiences on the U.K. campus from 1967 through 1969.Interview Accession
